Race Driver: GRID Malaysia Launch

grid_detroit_replay.jpg

Codemasters Malaysia will be launching Race Driver: GRID at Zouk KL on June 11 from 7:00 p.m. till 1 a.m. The event will be open to the media and adult general public. Zouk KL is off limits to kiddies, so you gotta be of legal age to be there (18 for girls, 21 for guys). You’ll notice that the GRID launch is on the very same date and time as the MGS4 launch at Plaza Lowyat so if you could care less about stealthy geriatic soldiers, you can choose to go to the GRID launch instead.

One advantage that the GRID event has over the MGS4 launch is that Ralph Fulton, the Chief Game Designer for GRID will be available for autographs from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. I’m also told that the game will be available at a special discounted price so this is a good opportunity for players who want to get the game cheaper than retail price.

No way GRID gonna overshadow MGS4 launch date…yes, Kojima wont be here. So anyone is welcome…not to mention i heard ‘rumor’ that the local tv & newspaper will make a coverage about this event.

heck..MGS4 is one of the anticipated game for PS3

This is going to be a proper launch. With booths (and booth babes ??) game consoles, Live DJ (it is a disco after all) and the works. All sponsored by Codemasters themselves because everything you see in the game was produced by Codemasters Malaysia :)

one thing to own the car, another to race it in Shibuya…not even the pro jap racers can afford to do that. In Grid you can do that and more and it feels darn real all thanks to the hard work of our Malaysian artists! Check the video of pro drifter “Sleepy” Hiroki Furuse, EDC Judge/Team Orange Manager and Consultant on Grid Drift http://www.racedrivergrid.com. It’s not about owning the cars, its about racing. Anybody with money can put a car in the wall. Pffft Twat…
